    ... the way through the comp....something about 3am....we've become friends.
    we set up camp under our favourite tree and prepared for our final battle. I have been so focused on racing, I have missed taking lots of photos of the experience outside of racing.     ... We had decided to no longer rely on the event organisers and so laid claim to a leafy tree closer to the grandstand and adjacent to the marshalling tent....our allocated area was at the far end of the competitors village at the 500m start line and with an unreliable sound system, it was hard to get into the feel of the event....this time we were in the thick of it.
