      ... sailing (and capsizing) which reminded us of home. We had ice-creams in Grand Lake and walked through the town, which is quite frontier-like. There is one street through and you can imagine it in the old days when it was a resort town.

      This was a lovely day but didn't feel quite right without Oscar, who was still on his climbing camp. He did tell us to do this trip without him though!

      ... get to the summit and take some pictures of all the snow covered mountains that surround me. I then continue down and around the hill I'd just ascended. I come across a natural rock pile and decide to set up my tripod and get a pic of myself on the pile.       ... they seemed pretty imune to the presence of humans. There was a couple scary times where we were riding bikes through buffalo herds crossing the road but there were no problems. there was this one time where me and mike were coming around a bend on a trail and all the sudden this buffalo rose up from the middle of the trail and starting heading towards us.       ... would have plenty of time to drive from Boulder to Evergreen. We got up on time and I inhaled my usual bowl of instant oatmeal which is my "go to " fuel for long rides and off we went into the darkness.
