Mia is out of surgery and in ICU. We had a good report from the surgeon. In his words, her heart is "normal" now. A little bump in recovery when she had an allergic reaction to some medication they gave her in OR so they had to leave breathing tube in longer than ...

I learned more from the staff and was close enough to other volunteers to discuss the archaeology of our grid with them.
