... directions, ready to snap up any strays, and we got to see several close encounters between magpies and trout when a pellet would fall just at the edge of the pool. Locals say that in the springtime, during snow melt the river is at its highest for about 20 days, and the water flow will get to be as much as 500 Cu Ft per second overflowing the Sinks, creating a side channel that comes back into ...

... we pressed on to Casper, Wyoming. By the time we arrived in Casper, it was time for lunch.  After a little searching, we found a place to park the trailers and grab some food.  Peaches Family Restaurant was definitely "old Casper", with a decor and menu that dated back to the Brady Bunch era.  After eating, we headed out of town and continued west across Wyoming 20 towards Lander.  This was a long, empty drive. ...

        Most beautiful stop yet.

Made poached eggs for the Master and struck out to see a little of Cheyenne. We stayed way too long at the train station Museum in downtown but explored it thoroughly. What an amazing feat to build our transcontinental railroads....and a wooden trestle bridge with lumber hauled in from Michigan!

... and who doersn'f like snow capped tetons?) across Jackson lake were little short of breathtaking. The other thing that I particularly liked about the Grand Tetons NP was that those bloody annoying tourists didn't seem to know the place existed. There was no competing for spots for a view, no hassles for parks, and no gigantic RVs clogging the roads.
