It is colder on top with the wind than when we are on the bike. We are using our electric jackets to keep warm. We make a stop at the LL Bean super store for a few small purchases. The leaves started to turn in Ernest in New ...

The streets are crowded with people of all ages and interests, some who’ve traveled to Portland specifically for the event and others who’ve just happened to get drawn in as they were casually walking by. If you’re in the city on a First Friday night, the scene is highly attractive, dominates the city, and it is completely unavoidable.

... odd fact about Rockport, it is home to one of the most painted buildings in America! Now prepare yourselves as this building is no Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building or Golden Gate Bridge...but alas, it is a little red fishing hut!

          I know, right!

It is named 'Motif No.1' as it has been a favourite painting subject due ...

          New Years Eve in Boston

A travel blog entry by t-l-c on Dec 31, 2014

New Years Eve was a lovely day, travelling down the coast, with the aim of arriving in Boston early evening. We visited Kennebunkport and a neighbouring village, both very cute little seaside towns, lots of money evident there. Kennebunkport is where Clinton has a house, so you can imagine!

Note to selves: when returning to Boston, on New Years Eve, and your hotel is on the Times Square of Boston, it is not the best idea to try to drive to the ...
