... The right front of the SUV was severely damaged and the passenger side of the windshield smashed in. Just another reason to slow on every corner or rise where you can't see the oncoming traffic. ... to "Jersey Boys" show at night. It was a great spectacle.

So now we are thinking of winterizing the van, mouse prevention/anti freezing/van covers etc etc. Dave’s daughter will kindly have the van in a corner of her property out in the desert in California.

All going well we shall return next winter to travel up the coast to Alaska…not so hot up there that’s for sure.

We've picked up the car, gone to Walmart and bought all our camping gear. $150 for tent, chairs and sleeping gear. Not bad. Oh, and bought a handful of slim Jims, they're a little like a skinny kabana stick, handy for a snack on the journey.
