We are now nestled in to Grand Dunes Marina South Carolina nice place. Apparently they just changed management (this was not on the website!) so the lovely hotel amenities are no longer included...Heather was not pleased false advertising but hey it happens. ... forward to Joyner Marina it is on the Carolina Beach. Nice marina small the dock store has chips and ice cream :-) but we have provisions for another gourmet meal in the boat tonight's specialty is soup and raw veggies...I might attempts some pesto pita chips but this oven is weird as I mentioned. ... stay at a Motel 6 on my way to DC to break up the drive. But I cancelled that and extended my stay in Wilmington.

I went to the beach a couple of times. Again, a beautiful beach. But both days were pretty windy and chilly and there were zillions of spring break folks everywhere.

Only took two pictures - the beach and the great fire I built. Sorry there aren't more. I guess I was just too busy enjoying my time there ...

... off quickly. The kitchen brought back memories for Peter of his merchant navy days, especially when he saw the potato peeling machine! Went to a nice restaurant for dinner, I had flounder Francais (not quite sole meunière but good) Peter had osso buco which he didn't seem to like too much then stopped at the little bar across from the hotel for a beer, seemed like it was a neat place - should have gone here ...
