      ... openness. Although it was a bit of a cold grey day, the town was still colorful and filled with life. We started off by visiting their library and taking advantage of their wifi. It wasn’t the most peaceful library though as it is also a huge tourist attraction. There is a big old sailboat right in the center of it. The library used to be a museum but went bankrupt and became the town library. They couldn’t remove the giant boat so it just became part of the book shelves. ...

      ... the Natick churches were gay friendly, with a female reverend. What a perfect little town! We used the afternoon to slowly drive down to Cape Cod. Once again we avoided highways and enjoyed the drive through all the little towns. New England has so much history that every town seems to have so much spirit and soul to it that the drives are really fun. We stopped in a town called Sandwich, right at the entrance to Cape Cod.       I remember to take a few pictures of the Nantucket streets and homes which are typical of the downtown area. One thing we begin to notice. Sometimes the homes are painted only on the front side that faces the public streets. The rest remains weathered, unpainted wood.
