    On the road again , we head to the famous Peter Faust Dam on the Proserpine lake to catch a barra.....Apparently the dam is full of large fish so we reckon we surely can catch one this time.
    The only trouble is, we arrive and debate if we should even go fishing as the weather was fail....winds blowing like crazy.
    We decide we may never be here again so we should at least give it a go....undo the tarp on the ...

    Left Babinda and continued south along the Bruce highway. Stopped at Mission beach for a look. Very nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Caravan parks and rest areas were all full. Ran across folk who were wintering at Mission beach but unless you were fishing there did not seem much else but sun and sand.

    Stopped at Cardwell for lunch. Another nice spot with grassed picnic areas between the water and ...

    $42 per night here. $3 for the laundry. There are only caravans only except one Jayco bus with a Toyota Echo and apparently many are here for the winter from either NSW Newcastle or Coffs Harbour or Victoria. Great location beachfront and lots of places to ride ...

It can be a problem when one comes out of a parking lot especially if there is no one to follow. Lucky the gas and brake pedals are the same in both continents.
