    ... decided to set up base for a couple of days. Easier said than done with the caravan park being 90% full and a line of caravans waiting for a site to be allocated. We got lucky and took a site towards the back of the park and set up camp then took a walk around the quaint town.

    ... From there we walked on the unsealed road back to Winni. It is a beautiful walk and not difficult. This warm-temperate rainforest contains coachwood, crabapple and sassafras trees leading to Coachwood Falls and blackbutt, tallowwood and brushbox trees soaring 30metres on Blackbutt track.     We had a nice arvy in the caravan park - had happy hour drinks with a couple we met back at The Entrance and met another couple who'd just bought an old Golf caravan (same brand as ours) so had a chat with them too. Then we sat down at the reserve at Moonee Beach and had a vodka.

    ... had everything in it we might need during the day, so it was easier to take her. That certainly proved to be a good idea! We went from breakfast to the Harbourside Markets. It was one of the best markets we have been to. Set out on lawns, under trees, it provided everything we could possibly want, including ample parking, lots of seating, a live band (we even bought their CD), lots of food stalls, and, of course, lots of craft and jewellery stalls for me!
