      ... Gargano and his hospitality is only outmached by the size of his massive thighs. This year Peter attempted the Canning Stock Route which is one of the most challenging desert bike treks in the world.       ... there. It was well worth it. What a beautiful historic town in the High Country. Another day and another drive, this time to Woolgoolga which is only 15 minutes from where we are staying, but finally we spotted some whales. It was only brief sightings, but exciting all the same.       ... due to lack of quality sleep in our last hostel and passed out in our beds before 11pm. The next day we had a surf lesson at 8am and learned of the next 4 days situation - too many beginner surfers and not enough instructors.       Today was a long day of walking! We set of to the big banana which was over 2 miles away. We stopped half way at hungry jacks (burger king) for a wifi and drink stop! Booked our flight from Singapore to Bangkok then set off again. The big banana was the first of the big things that have sprung up round Australia it wasn't actually that big!       ... other place was a tourist shop or cafe. If you want to be a hippy defo go and check it out and if you want to see hippies then check it out but in the words of Jim 'watch out for the cookies'!!
