Atlantic City was the last stop on our loop back to fly out from New York. We stayed the night at a Casino Hotel.....weird place!

The morning was spent down on the boardwalk and beach. A tractor type machine rakes the beach to clear the debris of the night before.

It's been about 10 years since I last visited my aunt Heather and uncle Roger in Cape May. I arrived just before the start of the tourist season, so it was nice and quiet (but a little chillier than any of us liked!). ... Princeton with it's ivy covered building and sun dappled roads. The leave were gorgeous, and, in retrospect, perhaps some of the best of the trip. Up through Bedminster (Chadwick Bedminster the Third, Oohhh Poopsy!!) and eventually cutting across the beautiful Delaware Water Gap area and over into New York state at the Port Jervis area where we got on 84 to save some time. This took us over to the Taconic State Parkway, a nice little ...

    ... from his identification guide.
Red oak and of course pine trees were abundant. We thought we smelled Lilac trees, but later found out they were Sweet Pepperbush. We saw some Highbush blueberry plants, Bayberry, Virginia Chain Ferns, and tons of other trees and plants which we never identified, as well as a turtle in the lake, tons of robins, a woodpecker and a few ...
