    ... place, explaining the huge concentration of late 19th century dwellings....Gothic revival to Queen Anne design. All part of the country's Victorian era. These "painted ladies" are known for fancy gables,gingerbread trim, stained glass windows and turrets.

    ... was horrific. The traffic was congested and we altered our route to get off route 30. Luckily we had our audio book and learned more about the War of 1812.

    Atlantic City was the last stop on our loop back to fly out from New York. We stayed the night at a Casino Hotel.....weird place!

    The morning was spent down on the boardwalk and beach. A tractor type machine rakes the beach to clear the debris of the night before.

    It's been about 10 years since I last visited my aunt Heather and uncle Roger in Cape May. I arrived just before the start of the tourist season, so it was nice and quiet (but a little chillier than any of us liked!). We started out the day at George's for some amazing breakfast (french toast with lemon greek yogurt? Yes, please!) and meandered through the shops on Washington Street.

    ... swim while I continued shopping. Had a great few hours off meandering around. Saw four street arrests in such a short period of time and not just one car be three with up to 8 police at a time, very dramatic, wanted to photograph but thought twice about that. Next thing you know I will be on COPS! We had a light dinner in the hotel, and crashed early for the night we think Cooper will be awake at 3am ...
