    Another great anchorage

    We loved this anchorage. Under-rated in the guide books. we swam; went ashore
    and have great sunset and sunrise moments. This will be our last night in North Carolina, tomorrow we start our tour of South Carolina.


    Overnight stop in a great town

    ... going to work. After talking with a local on the radio we pulled into the Provision Company docks. Free overnight if you dine at their place.
    Worked out well since they had the best shrimp around; that was an easy lunch and dinner stop.
    town is easy to walk in an afternoon. Which we did during my 2 hour long lunch break.

    ... We also found the best bar!!! the Fat Pelican. This is only a fab bar if you are into craft beers. They have a walk in cooler of Beer from all over the world. You go in pick out your beer; and pay the bartender. It was so much fun. Not so fun for all you Budweiser/Coors light drinkers. those beers are ...

    8/10/15 - Monday

    An easy, good weather travel day heading to Sunset Beach, NC and the Brunswick Beaches Camping Resort. Along the way we saw gas prices drop to the lowest of $2.089 a gallon! Wouldn't you know, both RV and Subaru tanks were full!

    After a good night's sleep, we awoke to find bagels with our names on them in the hotel lobby and quickly began the second half of our journey to Oak Island. We piled into the car and headed from Wilson to our next destination, Garland N.C.
