    Hidden Treasure!!

Stayed here for one night in November, and I wish we'd have had more time. What a fabulous find this motel was! The owner was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The rooms were a bit on the small side for more than 2 people, but very clean and equipped with all the amenities you'd need. The beach was only steps away from our room and the tiki huts are an awesome place to have your morning coffee. Lovely pool area and the grounds are well taken care of. Next time we visit Daytona, this hidden treasure will be the first place on our list!

I go to the beach a lot and find myself always going back here. The staff is great, very nice rooms, and perfect location! The rocking chairs by the ocean and a big plus!!! I HIGHLY recommend.

    An Excellent Choice

My daughter wanted to plan a family get away for us to refresh and renew. She searched for over a week and found the Ocean Court Motel. Nestled between some of the bigger, less personal hotels, the Ocean Court, reminds us of a time when innkeepers were friendly and interested in their guests comfort. We couldn't have been more happy with our choice. Dave Hands and family make you feel like family. The other guests are long-time returnees who also have the "family" mindset. Even the housekeeping staff made us feel welcome. We loved it! The ocean is right out the back door, dining and shopping on the strip is out the front. We will be among the "frequent flyers" at the Ocean Court Motel!!!!!

    Quite, clean and comfortable...

What a pleasant surprise to find such clean, quiet and comfortable accommodations in the midst of so many other choices. The management at Ocean Court is fantastic. They go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you Ocean Court for a memorable visit and for sending home my pillow!

    Wonderful vacation

Very nice motel. Clean place and very nice host. Would recommand to any one. Large heated pool facing the ocean. BBQ facilities near your door.

Great small motel right on the beach

The Ocean Court is a very nice place, friendly owners, clean well kept rooms, nice pool, gas grills, very good location right on the beach also golfing packages. We really like staying here.

I'm almost afraid to tell everyone how great this motel is because it would be terrible if they were so busy I couldn't get a room. But I have to tell the truth... It's like taking a trip back in time. I love this motel and everyone involved with it. Dave and Lynda... their entire family are fantastic.

Last year when we were making dinner, we needed a large pot to boil water for spaghetti but our kitchen didn't have one. When we asked Dave, he went to the store and bought one. You don't find that kind of service at a "big name" hotel.

Everyone in our family stays at Ocean Court at various times during the year and we all love it. Matter of fact, my two daughters are there right now... We've made terrific friends with other guests at the motel and now plan our travel around each other's trips so we can all be there together.

Thank you very much, Dave & Lynda... you're great!!

We have been using the Ocean court for over 10 yrs for our over night beach trips. They are very hospitable and always make you feel welcomed. Great Hotel.

    Best Kept Secret

Ocean Court is the best kept secret in Daytona Beach. Managed and owned by Dave and Lynda Hands and family, it's clean, well-kept, and safe. The entire staff are friendly and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Located directly on the beach with a heated fresh water pool, it is small and reminds one of the cozy mom-and-pop motels of the 50's. I woudn't stay anywhere else and I find any excuse to get over for a weekend or vacation.

A jolly good welcome at the Ocean Court Motel.

Well I have stayed at the Ocean Court Motel 2315 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach Shores, FL 32118 for the last 3 years. It is run by a British Chappy called Dave Hann and lovely wife Lynda and family. I came over from the United Kingdom for Bike Week In 2000 and then returned twice in 2001 with my family, and yes you guessed it, i'm back again this year. The whole family are so friendly, and it helps make your stay very pleasant. The Ocean Court Motel reminds me of that film "Battries not included". Its a small Motel inbetween the other taller hotels, but it gives you a safe felling. Nothing is to much trouble and they all look after you, even down to the chaimbermaides are also helpful. There is a great swiming pool to the rear of the motel, over looking the ocean, a sun bathing area and if you want to make a barbbie, you can do that at a purpose build area.

I could go on and on for ever, but I will leave it to you, So go on don't wait, make your reservation with Dave at the Ocean Court Motel, and see for your self what a great place it is.

P.s If you like golf Dave is your Man. Keep up the good work Dave and your team, see you soon !......Ian Jones ("The Welsh Wizard")

... have found everything reliable - until now. Our two day finalé on Daytona Beach just went horribly wrong. The giant beach front complex that boasted balcony views was nothing like the picture they stole off the internet and posted on their webpage. It took us a while to find the room - but not to worry - a random lady was there to help us and show us to our quarters. Jonathan declined their help as she looked suspicious and we tried walking to the beach, except the ...

So far our weather has been wonderful, with just a few scattered rain showers here and there. We ended our day in northern Florida and will hit the Carolina's tomorrow. They have a web cam always on the stage, so if you want a little taste of Key West, Google Smoking Tuna and enjoy a little of Key West. Our day ended on the beach next the hotel, sitting on chairs with our feet in the sand, looking at the stars. A short time in Key West, but we will be back. The Everglades is huge, and you can only see a very small portion of it via road ways, but what we did see was wild and untouched by humans. The end of the road was a visitor center and marina. I think there were about 10 people and some very deserted campgrounds. It was very quiet and ...

After we had eaten our fair share of chocolate treats, we headed back to our home base. I needed to get the writing started and Cheryl had some things to do also.
