... about ten minutes of arriving, we already didn't want to leave. For dinner we threw an amazing barbecue of steaks, chicken and veggies all on the grill, and stuffed ourselves until we were overly content. Later we made our way to our "surf lesson" which was the prequel to the sunrise surf we signed up for the following day. At $25, how could you pass that up?

After a blissfully quiet and uninterrupted sleep, we awoke at 5:40am to make ...

He said he thought it was wonderful to see the roles reversed, as normally it is the men who are sitting around waiting, instead of the women! He did chuckle as he walked off. When we finally left the shop (after buying nothing!!) the sun was just trying to break through the clouds. We ...

The road to Port Macquarie was a good one. Divided highway, motorway and toll roads took us inland from Sydney then along the coast from Newcastle.
Our first day began with sunshine and we walked "The Breakwall" which is alongside the Sundowners Breakwall Caravan Park. At one end is the surf beach and the other in the heart of town. People have painted many of the large rocks along the footpath. There is ...
