    A couple of not serious miss turns today that sort leaned right not left. John is a terrific driver and able to keep us on track. I even gave the van a short drive one day on an isolated road. Stopped at Norahead lighthouse and walked the nature trail there. Actually some real surfers and a surfing school underway. Drove the pacific coast highway most of the way here. Sad when you read the tombstones that tell of a woman dying just days after giving birth and then the baby soon after. The convicts are in unmarked graves.     ... of following the path it's good to actually walk around the rocks to get to the next bay. I hadn't done it so far as the tide was in but I decided I'd give it a go around Shelly Beach to Miners Beach as it looked like it would be an easy task. Mistake number one!
