      ... Jean Starr Walk, we learned more and more from yard to yard, as every volunteer prided themselves in sharing their own personal stories and insights about the koalas. Right at the entrance in yard one, we were introduced to rockstar and womaniser Barry, who in spite of his abnormal spine deformation (scoliosis) did a great job of driving his volunteer up the wall, when she attempted to change the towels on his tree trunk.       ... eye! Just as we were coming into port suddenly a few Dolphins decided to swim along the bow of the boat - something about the currents there make it like a ride for them! Luckily we were at the front having our pic taken so we managed to see them up close! So lovely and seeing Dolphins never gets old! We both had an ice cream from 'maccas' as they call it here and came back to our airbnb where we met our hosts and have settled down after another busy day! ...

      ... upstairs.

      We checked in and dropped our goods and chattels in our room and then headed out to find something to eat that was a little cheaper than on offer at the motel’s restaurant. We found a take away Thai food place and ordered items to share - mixed entrée, Thai Fried Rice and Prawns with cashews and veges … yum ! All for about $3 more than the cost of one Eye Fillet Steak in the motel's restaurant ...

      ... getting me to walk on the sand barefoot was revenge enough. After a dinner of pasta and tuna back at the hostel the guys who worked there organised a trip down to the local Irish pub down the road with some of the residents. We got to know a few of them and chatted to Danny and Colin for while and found them to be endlessly amusing. After a few beers we headed back to the hostel for an episode or two of Suits and a night of rest.
