    ... not disembarking in Ft. Lauderdale, we are considered "in transit". Yesterday we got new cabin cards (keys) and little slips of paper printed "In Transit". We do want to disembark and we can get off anytime and get back on at our leisure. The passengers in transit who don't want to go into Ft Lauderdale, are all escorted off the ship at 10:30, walked through customs and then get right back on board. The entire ship has to be cleared of passengers.

    We woke to beautiful sunny skies. By 7:30 we were taking our 3.5 mile walk along the ocean. It was a bit on the humid side and warm. (Sorry, folks, to those of you in MA getting dumped with all that snow). Along the walk, there were many joggers, walkers and some boot camp group. We saw a lady feeding the gulls. The gulls were hovering waiting for a piece of bread.

    ... br> I was able to schedule my training to begin my first Monday here, September 23. The first day was basic safety information, class room style from 8:30-5:00.     ... for the bus, no bus. We decided to walk to Sunrise Boulevard, maybe get a bus from there. No bus there either so ended up walking all the way home.
