... the general good. There is, of course, no right or wrong in this. Every society finds its own balance reflecting its own history. So, next time you hear your US and Aussie friends going at it hammer and tong over divergent social policy, gently remind them that they are looking at the problem from different places and are unlikely to convince one another of anything important. They may be better off having a beer and talking about Rock 'n' Roll.

... hanging out. I've seen lizards, burros and the famous, "beep beep" roadrunner. There are black bears and cougars, deer and elk, and both bald and golden eagles. I would love to see any of these wild big boys, but you have to get up into the mountains, and away from populated areas.

One thing that surprised me is how much I like the huge Saguaro Cactus. I've always thought of cactus as the best option for ...

... she bought one for our North Carolina property. Will be shipped to South Haven when we return. The girls had a good time, so a great day overall. Dinner at Ocho Locos, Mexican restaurant in Anthem. Our waitress, Christine was great, and the food was excellent. Then, we came back, uncovered the pool table, and had a rousing round of billiards to finish the evening.
