... villagey. On the way home we drove down to see the Bush home up close only to find out we were looking at the wrong mansion. Bush compound is much bigger but to be honest, the one I thought was the Bush compound was much nicer. It has it's own church. Can't put the photo on insta, too big. I took a panorama shot.

... we proceeded along the Flume Path to Flume Gorge and past Avalanche Falls. We learned that Franconia Notch State Park was the home of the famous Old Man of the Mountain, aka "The Great Stone Face" which collapsed in 2003.
Folks back home most often ask what we miss most about land and the answer is always an easy one, THEM! During our two week visit back to New England we were able to meet up with some of our family and friends. The unfortunate thing is that we were not able to meet up with everyone we wanted to see. However, we were able to enjoy the time with the ones we did and will cherish them.
