And I had a brief swim and walk around our hotel while Kate submitted her assignments. We departed around 10.30 for heading for the Grand Canyon Inn, Walle, Arizona, which is to be the gateway to our Grand Canyon experience. ... day. Having friends makes my life much more amazing. One thing I am grateful for what I got out of my study abroad experience is coming out with awesome friends. Sara and Mohini have been far more than nice to show me around the Bay Area. Visiting Google was a great adventure and it was a lot cooler than I expected.

Seeing Chloe was great too. So happy to see her again after not seeing for a semester. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met.

... house was covered in clouds. When we got there the temperature dropped as well.

Cynthia and Anne got to the house just a bit after us. We took full advantage of all the equipment the house provided us. We grilled burgers, lit the fire pit, stoked up the outdoor space heater, and sat in the hot tub. Katie and Solie ventured down to the beach with headlamps on. We all warned Katie not to slip in her walking boot and break her other leg.
