... and the others looked like they should be next in line. But hey, the walk did me good! Went for a drink at the Twin Peaks Tavern. This was the very first gay bar that had clear glass windows, so passers by could see in. That must have been a huge deal at the time! Probably difficult to understand for my younger mates, but that's the way it was back then. Anyway, another early night for me as my road trip proper starts tomorrow ...

... day. Having friends makes my life much more amazing. One thing I am grateful for what I got out of my study abroad experience is coming out with awesome friends. Sara and Mohini have been far more than nice to show me around the Bay Area. Visiting Google was a great adventure and it was a lot cooler than I expected.

Seeing Chloe was great too. So happy to see her again after not seeing for a semester. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met.

... house was covered in clouds. When we got there the temperature dropped as well.

Cynthia and Anne got to the house just a bit after us. We took full advantage of all the equipment the house provided us. We grilled burgers, lit the fire pit, stoked up the outdoor space heater, and sat in the hot tub. Katie and Solie ventured down to the beach with headlamps on. We all warned Katie not to slip in her walking boot and break her other leg.

... bite to eat before starting. Today's wines are a Viognier (30 cases) and the Prado (180 cases). It was all hands to the pumps as we were relying on volunteers to help with the bottling to save money.. It all went smoothly and by lunchtime we were finished. Mikes flight was late afternoon, so we killed a little time driving around looking for a coffee/snack ...
