We always enjoy visiting Morrisburg - eventually the waterfront in this village.
We therefore thought we'd see what Morrisburg had to offer for Canada Day.

Who made a surprise appearance on the stage during Canada Day? Justin Trudeau. Who is Justin Trudeau you may ask. He is the son of the late Prime Minister of Canada - Pierre Trudeau. He is currently a Politician and Leader of the Liberal Party. I made sure I got a picture with him just for the fun of it.
... stop at the very pretty historic village of Rockport & had a lovely chat with a couple selling their art work from their garage. I bought a charming wooden cottage which will remind me of Ontario's cottage country.
Next stop was at Brockville where we came up on the first rail tunnel (or so they say!).
... The day was filled with swims in the pool, sitting around eating chips and chocolate, talking about our lives and just good old joking around. It was just a relaxing day for all. I did manage to get away from a chair for a bit to take the kids to a nearby school that had playground equipment.
BTW, Joanne's parents' names are Alex and Annette. They have lived in Cornwall for some time.
