It is hard to believe that we only have one more week before our "Train for Spain" trip becomes a reality. John and I have both traveled to Spain individually but, as a family, we are prepared to see Spain from a whole new perspective. We have researched the sights and made all the reservations, now if we can only make it to the plane on time!! We have a couple more suitcases to get packed, hopefully we will be able to manage that this ...

... kept us amused (and extremely informed) for the next hour as we toured the behind the scenes of the distillery. Upon entering we immediately recognized the smell of mash from Jae's moonshine efforts - that is not a smell you easily forget....ever.. Jae looked like a kid on Xmas morning - soaking up the information and experience We ended our tour with a gratis tasting - Jae got mine, with no complaints :)

... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Then we drove to a park with lots of Christmas lights and walked around in the cold looking at all the pretty lights. ... and drove in the pouring rain to Red Rocks.

We got there and the rain stopped as I was picking up our tickets from Will Call..yeah!. The sun had just set behind the big red rocks on either side of the amphitheatre and they were now lit up magically. Think Belvoir meets the Quarry Amphitheatre with big red rocks instead of limestone and multiple the size times 4 and you have an idea of what it is like.

The opening band was great and had everyone dancing ...
