... Byway. This 85 mile loop road showcases many of Oregon’s wonders, including old-growth forests, wild-rivers, waterfalls, lakes, volcanoes, and ancient lava flows. This is a quintessential drive through Oregon's back country.

At the commencement of the day trip, we take a small detour from the Scenic Byway and visit a spot called Camp Sherman. This is an adorable hamlet with cabins and other lodgings along the Metolius River. There is ...

Mount Si is a mountain in North Bend Washington. It is roughly 40 minutes East of Seattle. The mountain is 4,167 feet tall, but the hike is only 3,500 up because it starts above sea level. The trail to the top is 4 miles long. This trail was supposed to be a start in preparing us to climb Mt Rainier this summer. I want to do a lot of hiking together in our first summer in Washington because we are aging ...

... will go to Crater Lake, OR and then our final destination Willow Creek. (At least until the end of the month). We get to hug and kiss our precious Vivi! We can't wait! When I get to Dave's I will make appointments for a massage, a facial, a hair appointment and relax! I plan on spoiling Vivi to no end!

Now it's time to start thinking about Rich & Jenny's wedding. We will leave ...
