... coast into town before I am completely out of Diesel.

We enter the crowded town fueled by fumes and with low expectations that we can easily pull our 54 feet of rolling stock into a downtown gas station. Casey spots a Middle School shuttered for the summer and urges me to drop the RV in their parking lot. This will allow me to easily meander the streets in town and find some fuel. Brilliant! While she babysits the RV, I stop at the nearest, ...

So it was kind of crowded and a little bit loud with young people blowing off steam. But, all in all not a bad park. When we left Bend, the scenery changed dramatically! We went from rolling hills and farmland (which was very pretty), ...

    Climbing Mt Si

Mount Si is a mountain in North Bend Washington. It is roughly 40 minutes East of Seattle. The mountain is 4,167 feet tall, but the hike is only 3,500 up because it starts above sea level. The trail to the top is 4 miles long. This trail was supposed to be a start in preparing us to climb Mt Rainier this summer. I want to do a lot of hiking together in our first summer in Washington because we are aging ...
