It's an early start to this adventure.. down to Brisbane International airport for our 9 hour flight to Guangzhou China , the home base for China Southern Airlines...our chosen carrier.
Booked through to London but using the optional stopover allowed, we will have the maximum 72 hour stay in Guangzhou..No visa required.. A few days in Asia is always enjoyed..

... I get to Dolphin Point excited but there aren't any dolphins. I walk all the way Hells Gates at Sunshine Reef but I don't see anything :-( Hopefully another day. We were astonished at just how many people turned up. The stall holders were lined up both sides of the highway must have been 200 stalls throughout the town. The town common had the stage set up for all types of entertainment including whip cracking belly dancers bands and story tellers.
The local butcher turns over 8 months of business in just 1 day!!!! He makes the most delightful pork & ...
... lol. Once we got going we hit the bank a few times and a few logs but luckily didn't sink! We finally arrive shattered and starving. Good old Andy has the BBQ going and steak and sausage went down a treat. We then went for a walk past the listed building bens hut. ... together and 2 girls travelling together. The hostel doesn't let you have any alcohol in the hostel to get you to buy from their bar. But at $6 a pint, we didn't fancy that. So with the English people in our room we decided to buy some wine and drink in the park and on the beach which everyone seemed to be doing. It was a lot of fun and nice to get out for an evening without having to get up so early.
