    ... Drive #23. This eventually took us on a hilly, mountainous, gorgeous drive on a ridge on our way to the Steve Irwin Australian Zoo. Steve Irwin is an Aussie who loved crocodiles, snakes and more and founded this zoo. Highlights included Tasmanian Devil, the bird and croc show at the Croseum, Komomo Dragon, lizards, koala bears, kangaroos and a python snake.     ... only 6 left in the national park. The scenery changes quite frequently along the coast. You get sandy beaches, rocky beaches, rock formations and steep cliffs. As we got to a place called Hell's Gate we spot a pod of dolphins swimming along the coast. There must have been about 20 of them and they were all playing in the sea for as long as we were stood there. Annoyingly we just could not get a good picture of them and a fancy SLR camera would have been useful. ...

    ... Whilst on the walk we spotted Ken in the sea riding the waves on his sea kayak with the many surfers! This walk was a wildlife haven!

    ... this stage, and very
    refreshing in the heat and humidity off the scale for sure!! In fact even the
    locals said any more humidity and they would have to charge everybody another
    $5.00 for the sauna!!

    Also on offer was massages, toys, clothes digere doos , Jewelery,

    We had planned to get to Noosa a day earlier than we did but we were silly enough not to book our hostel for Noosa before we went to Castaway. So we were on the coach for 12 hours travelling to Noosa and we spent that time just panicking and ringing round hostels hoping that they would have some cancellations.
