The camping trip from Hell!

Everything that day had gone relatively smoothly until we went to get in our tent and did our standard ‘spider check’ and realised that there was a huge spider on the lining of our tent! After about 40 minutes of flapping, panicking and crying the spider disappeared and we managed to make it into the tent, where I again tied myself up in the sleeping bag liner.

Noosa And Surfers Paradise
... Alexandria Bay with its splendid mix of black and gold sands. We had a late lunch at the top of a cliff with waves crashing far below. Around the other side we spotted several dolphins and further on a couple of koalas. Sylvia was quick to add that hike to her top five list.
