        ... and had a great meal. It's located on an island and people come from all over, some even taking float planes to get there. What a life! We actually met Henry later today, at the dock at Twelve Mile Bay where they pick up supplies. He's a jolly older man and James shared a few laughs with him.

        After a week of cities and 6 days of French, it was nice to head off the freeways to a quaint country town in Ontario. The drive was great, very small towns, expanses of wilderness, camping grounds and then we arrived in Peterborough. A large country town, but very quiet.         The key is that they are very practical - they anticipate the other guys and take the most practical step to keep traffic moving. It might mean traveling in the wrong lane or cutting someone else off, but they do what needs to be done. THe guy cut off should be anticipating that and take his own action.

        Important to remember the pecking order 1) truck/bus 2) car 3) scooter 4) human. The higher number ...

        ... the trip is over - the best, most adventurous and exciting trip we have ever ad. Our motorcycle trips are certainly exciting but operating in/learning about alien cultures meant something new every day and never knowing what to expect the next day.

        Vietnam is highly recommended - safe, comfortable and very interesting. I think we just got into a section of China that was not really suited to tourists so I think a return visit is needed to form a true opinion.
