The drive into Denver was initially nice. I took us on a scenic route through Breckenridge and Frisco where we stopped at an anti-dog establishment because we needed food and ended up eating the takeout in our truck. There were winding mountain roads and overlooks of gorgeous rivers. Sigh: Colorado you just don't quit with this scenic ****. Once we hit the I-70 the fun ended.
