... in the end as the paths were not very well signed and time was of the essence. Maybe the 'full Monty' walk on another day?
And so back to base, to rest briefly before supper, another Denny's feast for seniors. Our final action-packed day activity was a last look at the Falls by night, crudely illuminated by searchlights. The illumination did at least make the Falls visible, but the noise on its own betrays their awesome presence.

... too! I know have 2 blue and 1 yellow rain ponchos! As it was my last night in Canada, I shouted myself to a proper restaurant dinner which was very nice indeed. I then went on the Sky wheel for awesome night views of the illuminated Falls. In my pod was a lovely couple from New York area, who were in Niagara to celebrate her 30th, so they gave me some tips on New York which was cool. The wheel is suppose to rotate 3 times, ...

... though, just white and a lot of noise. Otherwise there is a viewing platform close to the base of the falls. From here the force and size is most apparent. The water plows over so fast. It reminded me of icing sugar. It barely looked like water! In between these activites and once I was done I spent my time hanging around the paths at the top, checking out the falls from all different angles. I went a bit photo mad, not helped by an intense sun that meant I ...
