Monday morning we got up early and headed out to Niagara Falls. Traffic was light and we had no wait at the border, got a great (and expensive!) parking spot by the falls. We got on the Hornblower cruise, which is the cruise out of the Canadian side since now maid of the mist is only on the American side. And it was awesome!!! I haven't been to the falls ...

    ... was a spectacular experience!!

The final leg of our pass was a walk along the gorge to check out the rapids. The speed of the current was unbelievable you would never survive if you fell in - needless to say we were on red alert. With all legs of the pass completed we went back for another view of Niagara Falls you just cannot believe the volume of cascading water. You have to keep watching just in case it stops running. It does not!!

... near the falls. We bought $20 worth of tokens, not realising you could buy less, so we had heaps of tokens! Dad and I had 2 games of mini-bowling each, and a game of air hockey, then heaps of other arcardes like Daytona, Pinball, motorbike ones, an aeroplane arcade and heaps more. It was great fun!!

After we had checked into our room, we went to the outlet ...

... of hydroelectric power for both Ontario and New York.

We visited the Canadian Falls in 1999, took a trip on the Maid of the Mist, and walked through the tunnels to get behind the falls. This time we wanted to see the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. We started at Bridal Veil by visiting Cave of the Winds and headed down 170 feet in the elevator to the walkway. There are plenty of birds to see at this ...
