    ... up huge clouds of spray. We've noticed that everyone in Canada speeds. We drive on the speed limit, not wanting to tempt fate getting a speeding fine, and literally everyone overtakes us. We are doing the speed limit (occasionally a little over) and everyone is faster than us. The police seem unconcerned by this and don't pull anyone over!     ... the same pace for another 5k, then my speed dropped and dropped. By 35k I was having to walk and every chance of qualifying time for London (3:05:00) soon disappeared. I crawled over the line in just over 3:08:00, pretty tired and disappointed as I really wanted to get an automatic London pace.
