    ... where my parents lived until 18 years ago and my brother lived more recently. There were many times over the last quarter century when I contemplated paying one of the restaurants at CIA a visit. With a full day to make the drive to Vermont and weather too cold for doing anything outdoors to be very pleasant, finally having lunch at the CIA seemed like a great idea.

    On my flight to LA so I thought I would start my Spartan Malibu blog. I'll arrive in LA at noon then it's an hour car ride to Malibu.     This was a short driving day and we arrived at Jess and Pete's in the early afternoon. We disconnected the car and jockeyed the RV into their driveway.
