... for afternoon tea. Having saved the USA economy from ruin we stopped for lunch, then later on headed to one of our favourite cafes, Toni's, for a coffee before returning to Max and Sarah's apartment to greet Max on his return from rehab around 4.00pm. Dinner is underway, drinks are poured and we are now awaiting Sarah's return from work before sitting down to another meal and the ice hockey on the TV - Blackhawks vs the Red ...

... pizza on the table which was about the size of a pizza hut pan fried, but yes, much thinner than a deep dish pizza. We’ve agreed that what makes these pizzas so good is that the base is actually pie like. It’s a bit like a pastry shell you’d blind bake when making a pie or tart, slightly crunch with a nice buttery flavour. You then have the pizza toppings placed on top so in the end you have a huge mix of flavours going on that are very yummy.

... the next hotel which was near Millennium Park as this was where my Contiki tour for Chicago to LA would be leaving from the next morning. So I settled in there and met my roommate for the tour Becca, who was from Cardiff, UK. Her luggage had been lost by the airline so she came with basically nothing and hoped her bag wasn’t too far away, which eventually came the next day and met us at the next hotel. So everything was looking good for the tour at this stage.
