Phil's birthday in San Marcos. We set up at Pecan Park and had dinner with cake at a Mexican restaurant. On Thursday, we went to Boerne and visited with the Allens. That evening we had dinner in San Marcos at Cody's (disappointing).
Saturday we went to San Antonio aquarium. Then headed for home on ...

... people were obviously wearing less clothing than they would be normally, but I was sincerely fascinated by what people chose to have permanently added to their bodies. It was fun to check it out.
We spent all day at the park, and were pretty hungry by the end of it. We started the habit early on in the trip of setting ourselves up to eat at around 8pm, so we were all kind of cranky and ...

      Trip Update 2

A travel blog entry by rozbp on Jul 30, 2011

... you will have to reply to the notification email. I purchased Rosalind a travel wheelchair; it weighs on 23.5 pounds and is very compact. Just in case there are days with long periods of walking, she will be able to sit back and be chauffeured around. Of course, she didn't want to get it; I told her the alternative was on my back! Case closed. One big change from the last update is the high-speed train ride. We have changed our mind ...
