      After eating a dirty burger from Mark Wahlbergs' brother's joint, Wahlburgers we arrived in Provincetown, a cute little town right at the end of Cape Cod, predominantly frequented by tourists of the gay variety. I'm sure it's great fun in the summer but right now it's out of season and most places are closed. The shops that were open seemed to solely sell leather items and cat t shirts aimed at the lesbian market. The restaurants however, ...

      ... you get to the sea it's just as dramatic and soul-stirring in Cape Cod as it is in Point Reyes. What a gift to be able to unload the car yesterday afternoon, walk five minutes down the road and be facing the Atlantic in all it's glory. And then do it all again in the morning, only with a lovely cup of coffee in hand.

      Now it's time to hunker down in my cozy cottage, wind and rain roaring outside, beer in hand to watch game 2.

      The next morning we headed right back onto the road. Instead of taking the main highway we took the Kings highway which goes through all the old Colonial homes and towns that run along the inner part of Cape Cod. We drove to Wellfleet which just so happened to be having their annual Oysterfest that day. We parked at the beach and a free shuttle bus took us into town. Chris and I are both not really oyster people but seeing as this was an oysterfest we each got a nice big fresh oyster ...
