We made it to Nashville to catch up with a friend we made in Michigan and to check out the night life and check it out we did. We didn't go to bed before 3am too many nights in a row, Polly (our friend) has some serious stamina!

Today we went to the Hermitage which was the home of Andrew Jackson president of the United States 1828-1837. It is a beautiful 2 story mansion in the country side. Susie just loves the fall color we have been seeing here. The mansion has gardens and Pres Jackson and his family are all buried here.

Today we were mostly on the road. Stopped in Jackson TN to see Casey Jones museum ad had lunch. Casey Jones was a train Engineer who stayed with a train even tho it cost him his life to save his passengers. A freight was on the wrong track as he came around a bend, he told his fireman to jump. The fireman lived another 57 years, Casey died, The fireman told people what Casey had done making him a legend in Tennessee and the world. Its a true story ...
