    ... painting- true to it's name. The cliffs had sea caves carved into them along with waterfalls and beautiful beaches. The lake water was so clear and blue. Truly a great afternoon. Off to Tahquamenon State Park tomorrow and camping at the Hemlock Lower Falls for 3 days. Many things to see in this area. We are looking forward to visiting the National Shipwreck Museum located at Whitefish Point. No WiFi here so will post this tomorrow. Life is ...

    ... nice little park with a picnic shelter...we got our food out, sat down in a totally empty shelter with 7 large picnic tables and these three people came and sat right beside if the place was full...interesting.     ... that was actually fuzzy it had so many mosquitoes clinging to her!!! I daresay I believe the story to be not far from true from our experience.
    Lower Tahquamenon Falls was none too impressive but a nice park with two campsites and, as it turned out, lots of mosquitoes again. Upper Falls next and they were quite lovely - 94 steps down and then back up, of course, took us to the Brink's View. A display at the park also laid to rest ...
