For dinner we returned to the Navigator restaurant where we had eaten the night before. The food was good and plentiful and there was a good variety of beer. Another late night as we all sat in our house having a few drinks and good conversation.

We have 2 little houses near the waterfront. We can see across Lake Superior to Grand Island. We are sitting drinking wine and beer. Off to Tahquamenon State Park tomorrow and camping at the Hemlock Lower Falls for 3 days. Many things to see in this area. We are looking forward to visiting the National Shipwreck Museum located at Whitefish Point. No WiFi here so will post this tomorrow. Life is ...

... anything wrong with the transmission...they drove it about 20 miles and couldn't get the RV to repeat the problem. It may be that a valve was stuck and that there is something in the transmission fluid causing that., like metal particles. The day it happened, the tech did see that it was stuck in 3rd gear, so they know we aren't making this up.., So, they are going to service the transmission and that will clean out all the fluids...and keep a sample for analysis, and ...

Well, now I know why I stopped sleeping in tents! The ground is hard. It's far from the bathroom and no matter how little water you drink before bed, you will have to go in the middle of the night! And when you do, it's cold and the dew has fallen....what fun! Oh yeah, and most KOA campsites are near the railroad or airport or some other noisy entity...this morning it was a plane taking off in the field right beside us and then some yahoo in a loud car racing down what seemed to ...
