... was the Roma Saleyards which happen on every Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesdays they sell the unfattened cattle then Thursday the fattened cattle and then more specialised sales other times. It's a huge facility and is known to be the largest selling centre in Australia. They have been known to sell 12000 cattle through there at times. There is a massive fire pit with a camp fire going each night, as well as some wood BBQs. Everyone comes out for happy hour, to warm up and cook dinner. We had an aboriginal didge player to entertain us one night, and the caretaker, Gavin plays the mouth organ.

... is een onbemensd museumpje naast de huidige post. We kijken een filmpje, lopen wat rond in het museumpje en gaan dan naar de camping. Die ligt nog zo'n 10 kilometer buiten het stadje in de Bush Bush. We krijgen een plek op een veldje naast het toiletgebouw. Centraal ligt een kampvuur met shed (overkapte schuur) en een paar barbecues. Een van die barbecues willen we gebruiken dus gaan we met onze spulletjes er naartoe. Daar zien we allemaal Aussies ...
