We left the Vancouver/Burnaby area just after rush hour, but still were surprised at how congested the highways were. There’s construction all along Hwy #1 (the Trans Canada) - a ...

... any way. More than once a vehicle or motorbike pulled out and passed us with total disregard to the posted speed limit or the fact that there was a double solid yellow line down the middle of the road! When necessary and where possible Heidi pulls over to let these insane people pass us. The worst thing is that poor Heidi is unable to even drink her coffee because she has to keep two hands on the wheel.
