    Tues 11th November

    Woke to sunshine, so grabbed the camera and took some early morning photos. My fingers were frozen after only taking a photos for 15 mins and I couldn't feel the shutter button.     ... Kootenay River several times, we were once again struck by the smokey green tone of the water which is caused by glacial silt coming down from the mountains above. The water is so clear, you can almost count the rounded rocks on the bottom. Beautiful! This is also a "braided river" which is a characteristic of glacial streams.     ... head back to the motel. We are back in time to see the end of the BC-Calgary football game, and we are looking for supper ideas. Pizza it is, but from where? No one delivers here.     Ještě ten večer, kdy jsme kempovali u Spray Lakes, a chystali se na druhý den na výpravu do hor, jsme spatřili dva losy. Tak to je skutečně obrovské štěstí, celou cestu přes Kanadu na východ a pak zpět se nám nepodařilo spatřit žádného, a teď rovnou dva během jednoho večera!

    ... it’s really hard to get a full night’s sleep as trains rumble right through the campground ALL night and day.
