... to them to claim my massive funds back! We finally arrived to Makarora and not much to do there but was a beautiful spot!
Today i woke with a MASSIVE muscle spasam on my left shoulder - people seemed to think this was due to my bag being so heavy - i believe that i slept on it a bit funny! So had that all day looking like a bit of a ****! We headed to Wanika and we went to a place called puzzle island, where we ...
... still see the crater and its shape. I've taken a lot of pics of the skyline of Auckland coz it looks different everywhere you go.
I can see why people don't like Auckland coz it is just a city and they get stuck in a rutt of just going out and boozing all the time but i've learnt the further you go out of the city the more there is to do and the more you can see.
Next stop Hamilton and who knows whats in store there!
Much love

... and has a relaxed feel - whether this is the case, who knows at this point! We had the opportunity to chat to a couple of staff from two estate agents to get a bit more information. We even found a property which we quite liked but obviously need to tread carefully before jumping in with two feet! The west coast beaches are not too far away either.
Sunday was spent at the ...

Anyway we are enjoying Auckland and hopefully soon Kirsty will get some job and I will sort out my visa extension of some sort (or if not, we'll decide what to do after 3 months).
Greetings to everyone!

... on the ground. These crazy $9.99 sunglasses from Target - they won't break - we found all the pieces and put them back together.
We got a great apartment/hotel for the couple of days. There was this really nutty, funny guy that worked there. He bent over backwards for us and made our stay really great. I think we all went down to the front desk at least once, while he was working just to get a good laugh ...
We spent the night in Auckland in a horrible crowded ten bed dorm where the person in the
bed next to you was probably able to tell what colour your eyes are! Yup that's pretty close! We were up early the following morning and on the bus to Paihia.
On our way we stopped in a small town named Kawakawa. There's not a lot there but they have
some pretty interesting public toilets! An artist named Frederick Hundertwasser bought a holiday home in Kawakawa. The ...
So I'm out here on a working holiday visa but I have to admit my time here has been more holiday than work so far! I've been here six weeks now - it's incredible how quickly the time is going - and I've really not worked much, as in London things are very slow here. I've done a bit of subbing on one particular magazine - New Ideas, it's a celeb goss weekly, a bit like Heat magazine - and will be working for them again next week, which is great. I've also made my first foray into ...
Auckland, North Island, New Zealand siana... was worth it as the top of Mt Eden afforded some great views of the city's skyline and surroundings, and the weather wasn't too bad either. We finished the day eating a delicious curry in the city's Asian food courts, where some brilliant dishes at decent prices were available. It reminded us a lot of being in Asia and, more to the point, just how much we missed the food there!
Auckland, North Island, New Zealand benbeckie... barter like this in an international airport ?! To pass the remaining time, Mark decided to teach some of the airport staff to juggle. You would have loved it ! The staff spoke no English, and Mark speaks (very) minimal Swahili (and most of that has to do with climbing mountains). Nonetheless, by the time we left Mark had them juggling three balls. Everyone was laughing and smiling -- one of those great diplomatic exchanges. We flew (5.5 hours) from Dar es Salaam to ...
