... the bumper sticker in my peripheral vision and realized this was Post's truck! We freaked him out with some high speed waving and decided to meet up at the Timmies in the next town.

It turned out that Post got delayed by some mechanical problems and didn't leave Brampton until last night. When we met up he had already been on the road for almost 10 hours. We decided to still check out Gaspesie, get a lay of the land ...

... was not much ... I wondered if it was because more and more things come in plastic or because we don't litter as much and then I just got excited when I found a piece or two. The rocks on the beach seemed so different from home-- mostly in variety of colours. I sure wish I knew more about the kinds of rocks I look at. We were, of course, always in search of the heart-shaped rocks. Just a lovely, albeit a little cold, walk to end the day.

... dry and calm here and there was even some warmth in the temperature as we walked after dinner. Somehow when it's raining and miserable it all feels that much worse.

We will head back to Grande Anse probably tomorrow and look for another cemetery or so and maybe try to connect with a cousin of Denis' that still lives in a nearby town. Laundry also calls so we should seek out a laundromat and also keep ...

Before going on our trip in Northern NB, Dominique and I studied the plans for the expansion of Paquetville Co-op. We left on a very early Monday morning.

Paquetville is a small town of 600 families, which with surrounding areas has a population of 3000. "Country of hills and maples". YUM, maple sugar.

... talk to Phyllis. Richard hopped on the laptop to look at a few different things.

Richard went out on the porch with his ipad (that is the best place to get a connection for his ipad) but he wasn't having much luck. I took a photo of him then made our lunch and coffee the fog is still thick and it is quite cool.
