After Liechtenstein we saw ski fields with chair lifts extending up into the mountains. Also, around the houses on the mountainside and amongst all the trees was a brilliant green ground cover, probably grass. It looked as though it was a carpet which had been draped over the contours! Catching the train this morning was not so bad..perhaps we are getting used to the system. The IR train had panorama windows, so we had a good view of the Swiss landscape..green meadows, alpine houses and barns and some high, snowy mountain peaks. ... mine Geraldine and Janna's was Priscilla. After taking photos and seeing the goats we had to leave. We took the worlds steepest cog rail way down the side of Mt. Pilatus. It was so scary I felt like I was going to just tip over the side of the mountain. We went straight to the hotel in Lucerne when we got back from Mt. Pilatus we are staying at the jail house which is a converted jail. The rooms are old cells. The room are quite small and the beds and the fittings look like a jail ...

Booze: It is not against the law to walk around in the streets or be in the train and drinking your can of beer. It seems so wrong and an 'uncontrolled society'. I have been so sheltered in Canada. LOL
