    ... s culture, which is Maori. The Maori people came from Polynesia, and so do the people in Hawaii. We saw a canoe that carried 100 people that I found surprising because it wasn't that big. In the Maori meeting house you had to take off your shoes

    ... rock. It was some very nice scenery, but I still don't understand the massive draw to seeing this hole in the rock. The highlight was going ashore on a small island and being allowed to get some pictures and exploring a little bit. The group managed to get some cracking group pictures with some awesome views in the background. Joining our group was Brett, a Canadian with a strong dislike for dolphins.     ... hear one bouncer say to David, "sorry, you've had too much, you can't stand up". Of course we protested, David had had three pints of water and this was the soberest he'd been all night. One bouncer allowed him to do the 'walk in a straight line test' which he passed with ease. This guy said OK, it was Jobsworth who wouldn't let us in.
