    ... lunch then carries on. so for two hours shopping what would take us half an hour to get to it takes 8 hours..
    Today was about 25c and tonight it is freezing and about 14c.
    We just made it back for the sunset and are enjoying our last night looking at the lights on the Santa Monica pier rides. Fire engines fly past, police cars its full of action on the street with lots of tourists and teenagers as it is their Spring break time.

    Just drove through Santa Monica saw the well known pier. The sea is very clear, crisp white beach such a lovely drive up the coast to Malibu, the waves were enough to get the surfers out and the houses were magnificent looking out onto the beach and sea.
