We didn't get much shopping in (we didn't actually buy anything), but we had some nice greek food (baked fish for me again) and then decided we would round out our day with a movie. They have a huge movie theatre at the Grove. So we saw "John Wick" and all action film with Keanu Reeves. By the time we got back to our hotel it was after 1am - woohoo, our big night out! ... it - we got to see some absolutely spectacular collectible and prestige vehicles, not just for sale but also owned by the thousands of people that had descended on Monterey. Last years auction sold $126m worth of cars in 2 days. I think the US economy may be showing signs of recovery..... Walked down to Fisherman's Wharf for a look around. Lots of very noisey seals hanging out in the sun and in the water. Had a couple of beers at the local brew house then headed out for dinner ...

I woke up nice and early to the sound of birdsong (a crow cawing actually). It took me a while to identify my alarm clock because their pitch here is a couple of tones higher. Jas and Charlie had taken off to their festival in Vegas around 5am to avoid the LA morning freeway gridlock leaving me to wander around their beautiful condo scantily attired. In order to wake myself up I did about half an hour's yoga that helped work out a few kinks and tight spots left over from the ...
