Rose Parade day! As expected our alarm went off at 5am, and as expected we hit the snooze button twice before finally muddling ourselves out of bed and into clothes. Lots of clothes. Layers of clothes. The low 30s isn't that cold, especially if you're moving, but we are going to be sitting for hours. ... show we went to was so great only cost us 7 dollars each. It was all about the importance of water for our universe it was so interesting and made me realise just how much we take for granted. we spent about an hour walking around looking at the view , taking in the fresh air and the surroundings, then decided to call a taxi, that was a mission ! we spent 30 minutes trying to get our phones or wifi to work ...

... end up staying there forever, so they try to police it by asking travelers to show proof of a return flight out of the country. So to compensate for this I purchased a one way out of Thailand back to LAX, printed it, then canceled the flight for a full refund. The document worked here in the states so hopefully it will work once we have to talk with the Thai customs, fingers crossed! Next time I "blog" I will be in another country, crazy yet exciting. Hot, hot, hot!

Imagine 38 degrees under a scorching sun walking around a theme park that covers 230 acres (that's 100 000 square meters for those that are imperially challenged like me). Now imagine 20 kids that were not only happy to do it but were having the "best time of the trip so far!"
