They are really big on Farmer's Markets here on Kauai. When we checked in yesterday we were given a list of them - one for every day of the week. After a quick breakfast of cereal and coffee, we set out. This farmer's market is in the parking lot of Kauai Community Colleges, and not only are there a lot of people selling, there are a lot of people buying. Happily I remembered to bring ...

Three weeks later, my friend, Dancer, visited me. I told her about the brownies, and she asked if she could have the remaining stall batch. We got up extra early today as we had booked shore excursion through Princess to the Waimea Canyon, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific", and we had to be at the Princess Theatre by no later than 8.10am.

We ordered room service breakfast as we normally do on days when we have to be “up and at 'em” and that way I don't have to deal with the crowds at the buffet or wait for ages in the dining room.

... be the free Mai Tai's we got right before we landed. Normally, free alcohol is good. But in this case, all it did was remind me of a particular night last December on my last trip. It was a Caribbean cruise and I'd had a little too much rum punch that made me feel not so well. And the Mai Tai tasted so much like that rum punch that it made me sick to my stomach. So I don't think I want to have any more rum for a while!

... we had views in every direction. So worth every dollar, we couldn't stop smiling afterwards either. In the morning travelled on east coast to Anani ???beach, unsure on spelling. Went snorkelling in protected bay, we were thinking this is pretty boring then saw our first sea turtle and then another 4. What a surprise as didn't realise they would be there. Then headed to lighthouse ...
