Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

Bergamo and the Alps

... right on the lake, it had gorgeous views of the Alps as well. We walked along the water and grabbed some lunch. It was very nice. We returned to Bergamo, walked around a little longer and went back to the hostel to sleep.

In the morning, we got up early and had some breakfast before we headed off to the airport to go to Greece!

After our long trip from Chamonix we arrived pretty late in Milan. Even though our hotel was off the main circle we were able to spend that night near Duomo thanks to tram line 14. I can't even begin to explain how breathtaking Duomo is. It's truly one of the best churches I've ever seen and I'd strongly recommend you to see it at night. It's honestly stunning, the crown jewel of Milan.   The inside however wasn't as nearly good as ...

What I loved the most about Milan was the Duomo. This beautiful Gothic Cathedral left me speechless. I can't find the words to describe how beautiful and amazing this building is. It was just perfect and to know it was build such a long time ago makes it even more amazing.
I knew as I was leaving Milan, heading to Venice, I was about to have a life changing experience.
