... the road disappears straight into a huge rock face. Fortunately, it’s just an optical illusion, and before we know it, we’re winding our way through the amazing mountain passes. The bad news is there is smoke everywhere from the forest fires. The good news is we decided to take the short route through Everton and leave our detour through the old west style town of Winthrop for another ...

We continued our walk along the water after the plane tour. The walk was very nicely built. Many people were jogging and walking there - it seems that people here are quite ...

... Hells Angel on the escalator might be small, it could happen. I think back to our trip to the US the other day. We are in, well, er, Walmart. The ladies are looking in the clothes section. I bought some new socks back in August so I’m pretty well fixed up for new clothes for a while. Might as well wander through the sports gear. Fishing rods, sports shoes, baseballs, Berettas, golf clubs – say ...

... hungry enough for dinner. Unsure if we were going to find anything open at this time on Christmas night, Dad and I went outside to walk anyway. We ended up finding a bakery that was open 24 hours, and was actually really full of people. We bought sausage rolls and pasties which was the perfect dinner.

What an amazing day! I am so grateful for my resilient, strong family, and for the opportunity to spend Christmas in stunning ...
