Appt was very nice and I found my room. Dumped my stuff, freshened up, picked up the spare keys and headed off to explore the area. Found myself at Westfield Century City mall. ... Market for dinner since the foodstalls seemed a bit more interesting than the actual farmers’ stalls. Unfortunately we stumble into on of the ”traps” and finish the day with a less than stellar seafood meal. Oh well – we can’t win ’em all. Tomorrow is supposed to be as hot as today, so our plan to hit the beaches in Venice and Santa Monica seems to be a better fit than a day in the city.
