... 15 hours or so, I walked down to terminal two and the Air Canada terminal. Quite forgetting that we had arrived in the California summer, I was quite warm when I arrived at the next lot of security. I did not have long to wait for the next flight, despite it being an hour late. The stewardess advised that Vancouver had had some severe storms, which resulted in large power outages. We arrived in Vancouver to torrential rain. ...
... Tour ride. Still displaying our passes we approached the gate. All prepared to queue, the attendant ushered across into the priority A line and told us that it didn't matter that it was our second time. Result! As it turned out the passes would scan again (a tip for future!).
Emma much preferred the tour this second time around as she knew what was coming!
As the finale to our day, we also went to see the Waterworld show again, this time complete ...
... is typical of all of Europe or just happen to be that way in Rome. Customs was a breeze and our airport transfer was super easy to find. We even got a history lesson on some of the Roman architecture during our 30 min ride into the city. Can't wait to write more later today. Our entire first day in Rome has much, much more to share with lots and lots of pics. See you soon!
... cold evenings and so by the time we made it on a two hour local bus back to Downtown LA it was gone 11pm and we were still damp from water rides and freezing. We'd proudly studied the maps and knew which buses we needed to get back to the motel but there was no sign of them so we decided to walk the bus route to keep warm.
