Christmas Eve day...a day filled with last minute shopping, a few drinks and a time of remembrance for our loved ones who could not be with us this year.

We always try and hit a candle-light service and we hit the same church he did last time. It was small and intimate and really nice. Packed to the rafters!

Back home, we had our annual Christmas Eve dinner with all the fixings....a few scotches later, and I was out like a light. Tomorrow would just be crazy.

... a couple large swimming holes that are packed throughout the summer and you could tell why. The water was clear and cool and the small rock formations surrounding them were perfect for laying out in the sun. We get a free breakfast at this hotel in Austin but the cut off time is 9.30am, we had the alarm set at 9am but both fell back to sleep and didn't end up waking until 11.15am. Those late nights and not sleeping well in Hollywood had caught up with us and we just couldn't wake up. Once we did get up, having missed the free breakfast at the hotel, we went to the IHOP which is just across the car park from our hotel. IHOP stands for international house ...
