... Blacks, so we ate there. It's a typical old Texan restaurant ('typical' by means of what you see in movies etc; the old wooden wall panelling on the walls, wooden shutter doors, hunting trophies of buck heads and huge long horns all over the walls). The place stank - a rank meat kind of smell, so despite not having eaten breakfast (only some pretzels on the plane) and starving, it turned me off eating. ... had moved my bag -- supposedly to the lower storage area of the plane. In order to find whose bag it was, the Continental staff had gone into my suitcase and from my purse they got my return ticket and my name! Yet they did not have enough sense to at least give me my purse or to see if I needed anything (such as my medication) or wanted anything (such as my jewelry) from the bag.

... I used the day to get a feel for a few to see where I wanted to be for the race. Watched the F1 qualifying from 3 different vantage points, session 1 from the pit straight just before turn 1, session 2 from turns 2 & 3, then headed over the bridges to turn 16.
