... by hand in the 1800's. The woods are beautiful - kids delighted in finding acorns for our resident squirrel. I just loved the quiet shattered only by 3 very noisy Australians. Walked for an hour with pine needles under foot - no wildlife spotted - think we may need to work on our stealth capabilities. Bridget has placed the acorns in a little pile at the base of a huge pine tree where our squirrel lives - fingers crossed we can get some photos ...
