... feet, I stopped for a break that ended up being a 1.5 hour nap that was much needed. I was so hot last night in Seiad Valley, that I barely slept 4 hours. Eventually Cuban B and JenRaffe caught up. After breaking for another hour, we pushed on to the next water source 5 miles away. We almost stayed at that water source/camp, but we wanted to get ...

Thursday, July 30, 2015. PCT day 102. Miles 1647.7-1662 Sleeping in today, I didn't leave camp until 0800. I figured that it was all mostly downhill into town with a 6 mile road walk. ... quite pretty.

We made it to the Medford, OR, Costco at 7:30, but the store was already closed, so we couldn’t get the pizza we were wanting there. But the gas pumps were still open. Oregon has a law that the consumer can’t pump their own gas, so all gas stations have attendants that pump your gas for you. After the attendant pumped our gas for us, we asked him where a ...

... coming off very well. I have gotten a few weird looks from people who don’t have any idea why my arm is red. Luckily, enough dye has come off, to make it look like I just have a really bad sunburn on my arm. After dinner, I threw the Frisbee around again with Josh, who happens to go to Lewis & Clark. Once we came back to the motel, I did my reading for the night, and reviewed what we learned ...
