... where ya come from and where ya headed?' from the passing cyclists in their club uniforms. After cycling through the appropriately named town of Summerland, we stopped at Carpenteria for food and were sorely tempted to go for a dip in the sea, given the beaches were purported to be the safest along this stretch of coast. ... really lovely cycling - there are lots of RV sites here that let them park right on the ocean, must be lovely at night with the sound of the waves (apart from the occasional train!). Then there's a diversion for the bike path as there's road works & we have to go along the 101 but facing the oncoming traffic going North but there is a concrete barrier for us to cycle behind so it's great but then the barrier goes & we're not ...

... a leisurely breakfast before returning to Legoland for Day 2. The girls went on several rides for a second and third time while we wandered around the park.

We we visited the Sea Life Aquarium which had real sea life as well as Lego models of scuba divers, sunken ships and treasure etc. the aquarium was lovely with soothing music and subdued lighting. Added to ...
