... From there we made a code for celeb spotting. Hopefully we will have to use it a lot. We caught the pier just at sunset. We got some great views over the beach. The pier reminded us of Santa Cruz with lots of rides and fast food carts. It was a very busy carnival atmosphere. After walking up onto the Main Street passing the beginning/end of Route 66 we decided we fancied Mexican for dinner. We walked along the front and up to 3rd Avenue and found a Mexican ...

Ventura had anice prom, sandy beach and pier and was far quieter than some places ...

we did feel smug packing up super quick the next morning and leaving without remodeling the northern face of the lake. us english don't like to make a fuss!! we made for Santa Barbara and enjoyed the chilled out laid back atmosphere that this part of the world is known for. life is good.

... compared to the typical 5% body fat Navy Seal, is an immense downhill advantage. About 30 of us rolled into the Santa Barbara Harbor as the first group to arrive for lunch!

We had lunch in the Harbor under clear blue skies and 75 degrees....perfect weather! The SB Harbor has a 2 mile long water front road lined with palm trees and beach on one side and hotels and restaurants on the other. We were lead into ...
