... quite funny. Marlboro smokes were $4.25 pack of 25, and you can buy a 600ml bottle of coke for $1.75 at subway. Some advice though, do t buy the cherry cola, it tastes like medicine. As does Dr Pepper. Yuk!
Graviota state beach was a lovely surprise, where there is a huge pier running quite a way out with a crane at the end for lifting Tinnys out of the water and onto their trailers before people push them up the pier to their cars. ...
... the intelligent key. Got us into the car - no joy, everything dead!
a call to roadside assistance gets the man out to have a look - battery drained. That intelligence key doesn't shut the car off- you have to press the button to do that!!

the kids got a bonus swim in the pool and Peter a morning stroll along the harbour. On the road again...............

We make good time for the rest of the trip.... well until we hit LA traffic that is and the GPS keeps sending us the wrong way! ... couple of wrong turns, Jim heading for the Mexican border (just kidding ) and a few detours and we finally make it to Burbank. Wait? you ...
... crabbers were all using chicken drumsticks as bait! Must have been a good sale on drummies.
Back to the motorhome for barbecued hot dogs and a quiet night. We are leaving early tomorrow so we can get through LA without traffic. I have to say, I'm not really looking forward to navigating the bowls of spaghetti they call interchanges here. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, we're stuck on a freeway somewhere driving in circles.
